Marie Stopes Ethiopia (MSIE) solved major monitoring and evaluation challenges by adopting DataWinners. MSIE reduced the time-consuming overhead needed to process submissions of multiple paper spreadsheet reports that had to be manually aggregated. Before DataWinners, the process was both tedious and at risk of human error.
Besfat Wodajo, eHealth Advisor for MSIE said:
We benefited from real-time tracking and monitoring of both program and field staff performance. We use the DataWinners smartphone app to collect monthly performance report from more than 600 social franchisees and around 300 government facilities under our Public Facility Support program.
MSIE must closely monitor the quality of their services in order to ensure that they are meeting international standards. DataWinners streamlined the previously difficult process of sifting through facility-level data, and improved transparency and accountability.
